Since day one, TemporaMap has been about exploration — picking a point on Earth, dialing a year, and watching reality reshape itself. But until now, every discovery lived in isolation. Your reconstructions, your street-level time warps, your most jaw-dropping generations — they stayed with you and you alone.
That changes today.
What is the Nexus?
The Nexus is TemporaMap's shared intelligence network. Think of it as a living archive built by every Agent in the field.
When you generate a temporal reconstruction you're proud of, you'll see a new option: Transmit to Nexus. One click, and your finding is broadcast to the entire network. It becomes visible in two places:
- On the global map — other Agents exploring nearby coordinates will see your transmission pinned in the chronofield.
- In System Access — a feed of all transmissions from Agents around the world, browsable and searchable.
No extra steps. No forms to fill out. Just transmit and move on to your next mission.
Why We Built It
The best part of TemporaMap has always been the unexpected discoveries — a forgotten building that once stood on a now-empty lot, a coastline that looked completely different two centuries ago, a neighborhood mid-construction in the 1970s. These moments deserve an audience.
We kept hearing from Agents who wanted to share what they found. Screenshots on social media worked, but they lost the context — the coordinates, the year, the ability to explore further. The Nexus keeps all of that intact. When someone sees your transmission, they can jump straight to that location and time period themselves.
What's Coming Next
We're working on a recognition system for Agents who consistently contribute high-quality transmissions to the Nexus. Highly decorated explorers will earn rewards — details on what that looks like are coming soon, but we wanted the community to know it's on the horizon.
